Launched on 6th November 2025 at the BioPharma Skills Forum, the BioPharmaChem Skills Framework is a pioneering initiative designed to map, support and future-proof the skills landscape across Ireland’s biopharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing sector.
Funded by Skillnet Ireland and developed in collaboration Skillsvista and industry partners in response to a recommendation from the Expert Group on Future Skills Needs (EGFSN) report, the framework provides a structured overview of the sector’s key roles, pathways and competencies — helping both individuals and organisations to plan effectively for a rapidly evolving future.
