What do we know so far about the Pharma Package, and what could it mean for WDA holders? This one-hour lunch and learn will walk through the latest updates, highlight what’s relevant to wholesale distribution, and look at what’s worth thinking about now.
About the presenter:
Joanne Bergin is Owner and Director of HP3 Compliance Ltd, an Irish pharmaceutical regulatory consultancy providing outsourced Responsible Person services, GDP compliance advisory, and inspection-readiness support. A registered pharmacist with an MSc in Pharmaceutical Medicine, both from Trinity College Dublin, Joanne spent over a decade as a Good Distribution Practice (GDP) inspector with the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA), inspecting wholesale distributors, active substance distributors, controlled drug and precursor chemical sites and participating in EU- wide regulatory cooperation through EMA and PIC/S. She also worked in pharmaceutical assessment with HPRA, reviewing marketing authorisation applications and variations for pharmaceutical quality. Prior to this, Joanne worked as an Authorised Officer with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland, inspecting community pharmacies and investigating complaints against Pharmacy Act and PSI regulatory standards.
