Course Overview
Lean Six Sigma is a proven methodology for improving quality, reducing waste and increasing efficiency across every industry. It enables organisations to streamline processes, reduce defects, improve customer experience and achieve sustainable cost savings.
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Programme equips professionals to lead structured improvement projects using the DMAIC framework, delivering measurable business impact while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
This programme combines tutor-led learning with a live workplace project. Participants apply Lean Six Sigma tools to a real business problem in their organisation, building skills while delivering tangible improvements.
Training is delivered through interactive workshops supported by guided project work. Learners then complete their project over a defined period and submit it for QQI assessment.

You will develop the ability to:
Lead a DMAIC improvement project from definition to control
Remove waste and improve process flow
Use data to understand performance and confirm improvements
Identify root causes and implement effective solutions
Document benefits and put controls in place to sustain gains
All learning is applied directly to a real project in your organisation.
The DMAIC Framework
