This webinar will focus on two key areas for Marketing Authorisation Holders (MAHs) and pharmaceutical regulatory professionals: Advertising Compliance and Regulatory Compliance Inspections. Attendees will hear about the latest findings from the HPRA’s 2024 Advertising Compliance Programme, followed by an update on the Regulatory Compliance Inspection Programme at MAHs, including recent trends and future focus areas. The session will conclude with a live Q&A, offering participants the opportunity to discuss key compliance topics directly with experts.

This webinar was a continuation of the Quality Defects & Recalls webinar that was run by BioPharmaChem Skillnet in conjunction with the HPRA in June 2023. It addressed current topics in relation to quality defects and recalls, including real life examples and tips for investigating defects and managing recalls. Case studies were presented showing the application of quality risk management principles to quality defects and other issues. The presenters were from the HPRA’s Market Compliance Section. Topics which were also the part of discussion were- potential changes being considered for the EU GMP Guide, to incorporate into the GMP’s key concepts from the new guidance in ICH Q9(R1). (ICH Q9 was revised in 2023 and it provided new guidance in a number of areas)

This webinar addressed current topics in relation to Good Manufacturing Practice. The presenters were from the HPRA’s inspection teams. The scope of topics were applicable to non-sterile and sterile medicinal product manufacture. Presentations included inspection deficiency examples, tips for ensuring GMP compliance and preparing for a GMP inspection. Registrants had the opportunity to pose questions in advance of the seminar and a broad selection of these will be answered by inspectors in a Q&A session.
