Course Objectives:
- Improve Employee Performance through Individual Coaching: Participants will learn how to leverage coaching as a powerful tool to enhance employee performance. Through one-on-one coaching, they will discover methods to identify strengths, areas for development & actionable steps to achieve performance goals.
- Explore & Apply Coaching Models & Interventions: Participants will explore a range of coaching models & interventions that can be tailored to suit various situations and individuals. These models will provide a structured approach to coaching interactions, ensuring effectiveness & consistency.
- Develop Powerful Questioning Skills: The course will emphasise the importance of using powerful questions to re-frame situations and challenge employees & perspectives. Participants will learn techniques to guide meaningful conversations, fostering deeper insights & self-awareness.
- Utilise Effective Questioning Techniques: Participants will be introduced to a variety of questioning techniques that empower clients or employees to reassess their viewpoints & develop innovative solutions. These techniques encourage critical thinking & promote personal growth.
- Understand the Coaching Relationship: The course will delve into the unique dynamics of the coaching relationship, highlighting the significance of accountability between coach & client. Participants will learn how to establish trust, rapport, & maintain a productive coaching partnership.
- Manage Professional Boundaries: Participants will gain an understanding of professional boundary parameters within coaching relationships. They will learn to navigate ethical considerations & ensure that coaching interactions remain respectful & appropriate.
- Create Safe & Confidential Coaching Conditions: The importance of confidentiality in coaching will be emphasised & participants will learn how to establish & maintain safe spaces for open & honest discussions, fostering an environment of trust.
